EuroMillions Rollover for August End
The month of August will end with a rollover jackpot game for EuroMillions players thanks to no ticket being able to land the top prize in the midweek game last night. The EuroMillions results for Tuesday 27 August were 07, 30, 38, 40 and 43, and the Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 06. Because the jackpot rolled over, the biggest winner in the UK was the player who won £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number, which was NFV150144. The EuroMillions jackpot this Friday will be worth around £21 million.
There were two EuroMillions tickets that matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star last night to land a prize of €513,509, and quoting that figure in euros should make it fairly obvious that neither of the winning tickets were bought in the UK. Fortunately, four entries matched the five main numbers only to win £57,123 each, and we are pleased to say that two of those entries had been played by UK participants.
As always, the number of winners increased as the prizes got smaller, and at the fourth tier there were 29 tickets that picked up a prize of £3,939 each by matching four of the main numbers as well as both of the Lucky Stars. 506 tickets matched four main numbers and one Lucky Star to win £197 each, and there were more than 1.56 million prizes landed at the lower levels.
Looking ahead to the next EuroMillions game, the most overdue main numbers to watch out for are 02, 46, 22, 08 and 25, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 07 and 03. If you would prefer to keep an eye open for the most common numbers, the main numbers are 50, 04, 11, 44 and 38, and the most common Lucky Stars are 05 and 03. It will be very interesting to see if any of the numbers just mentioned help someone to win the £21 million jackpot this Friday, but they certainly have just as much chance of appearing as any others.
Of course, before we get to the final EuroMillions draw of the month, we shouldn’t forget that we have a Lotto rollover jackpot to play for this evening. The jackpot will be worth an estimated £6.3 million, so click here to enter your numbers online and you could soon have that sum sitting in your bank account! Good luck!
