EuroMillions Results for Tuesday 31st May, 2016
EuroMillions players were pursuing a jackpot worth £41.7 million in the last draw of the month on Tuesday 31 May, but the top prize eluded players once again. That result extended the sequence of draws without a jackpot winner to six, so just one EuroMillions game in May delivered its jackpot, and that was to a ticket purchased in Portugal. Lottery players are now hoping that the current streak of rollovers will soon come to an end and perhaps even make a lottery dream come true for someone here in the UK.
The EuroMillions results that were responsible for the latest rollover on Tuesday 31 May were 06, 12, 26, 30 and 48, with the numbers 06 and 07 appearing as the Lucky Stars. The second prize tier saw 12 tickets win £66,382 by matching all five main numbers plus one of the Lucky Star numbers, and another nine players matched five main numbers only to win a third tier prize of £29,503 each.
There were 52 winners at the fourth tier, and each of those won £2,553 by matching four main numbers as well as both Lucky Stars. The total number of prizes landed in the Tuesday EuroMillions game was 1,788,490, and UK players managed to secure 411,622 of those, giving participants in this country a cash prize total of £2,140,643. In addition, one UK player won a prize of £1 million by matching the Millionaire Maker code, which was GMF009112.
Lottery players can now look forward to playing for a EuroMillions jackpot which is expected to be worth around £48 million this Friday 3 June, but first there is a chance to win big in tonight’s midweek Lotto draw, which will offer a triple-rollover jackpot worth around £11.4 million. The most overdue Lotto numbers at the time of writing are 16, 48, 18, 11, 58 and 43, so do look out for those, check the results on your mobile with one of our free lottery apps and remember to let us know if you win big!Wednesday 1st June 2016
