EuroMillions Results for Friday 10th June, 2016
The EuroMillions results on Friday 10th June enabled one lucky player to bring a sequence of eight consecutive jackpot rollovers to an end, and we can confirm that the winning ticket had been purchased in Spain. The owner of that ticket can now claim the incredible sum of €85,076,371, which equates to £67,227,348, and the numbers which delivered that prize were 14, 21, 35, 42 and 43, along with the Lucky Star numbers 07 and 09.
Three tickets matched all five of the main numbers plus one of the Lucky Star numbers to win €601,952 each, and we quote that prize in euros because the entries concerned had been purchased in Spain, France and Portugal. There were seven tickets that matched the five main numbers only, and all of those tickets had also been purchased overseas, giving each owner a third tier prize of €85,993.
The good news for British players is that 31 of 152 winning tickets at the fourth tier had been bought here in the UK, and each of those won £1,412 by matching four main numbers as well as both of the Lucky Stars. The total number of prizes won on Friday was 2,790,580, and the total amount of cash won by participants in this country was £3,301,986.
With the jackpot going to a Spanish ticket and the second and third tier winners all having purchased their entries overseas, the biggest winner in the UK was the owner of the ticket which matched the Millionaire Maker code. The winning code on Friday night was KNJ224308, and the person who owns the ticket can now claim a life-changing prize of £1 million.
The jackpot for the next EuroMillions game on Tuesday 14th June has now been reset, and will be worth a guaranteed €15 million, which should equate to an estimated £11 million.
