Quad Rollover Launches 2012

Quad Rollover Launches 2012

2012 is here at last, and if the rules of our favourite games remain as they are right now, that means lottery players can look forward to 104 chances to win a EuroMillions jackpot, 104 chances to win a Millionaire Raffle prize of £1 million, 104 chances to win a Lotto jackpot, and 52 chances to win a Health Lottery prize of £100,000 over the next twelve months. That alone is a hugely exciting prospect, but even more exciting is the fact that the first EuroMillions jackpot of the year will offer a quadruple rollover jackpot worth a massive £46 million!

The EuroMillions results last Friday 30 December – which was of course the last EuroMillions game of 2011 – were 16, 36, 43, 44 and 50, and the Lucky Stars were 07 and 08. Nobody realised the dream of winning the jackpot in that game, but two players (one of them in the UK) did win £730,948 each after matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star. Six players (two in the UK) matched the five main numbers only to win a second-tier prize of £81,216 each. The Millionaire Raffle number, which was worth £1 million to the lucky winner, was HYT570956.

The jackpot in the Lotto game on Saturday 31 December was a lot less elusive, and three tickets matched all of the six main numbers required (07, 11, 37, 38, 42 and 44) to share £4,040,520, giving each one a New Year’s Eve win of £1,346,840. Another 16 players won £77,702 each by matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball (02) whilst 619 players picked up £1,255 each for matching five main numbers without the Bonus Ball. The jackpot for the next Lotto game this Wednesday 04 January will be worth around £2.2 million.

In the Health Lottery game, also on New Year’s Eve, the winning numbers were 18, 25, 35, 38 and 39. No player matched all of those numbers, so one ticket was selected at random under the Second Chance Guaranteed Winner rule to receive the top prize payout of £100,000. The winning Ticket Reference number was PZ0400559094.

The big question now is whether someone will land the EuroMillions quad rollover jackpot of £46 million this Tuesday 03 January. Buy your lottery tickets online today and you will have just as much chance of doing so as everyone else! Good luck!
