EuroMillions Mega Week Preview
This is the last whole week of the month, and that makes it a Mega Week for EuroMillions players. "What’s so special about Mega Week?", you may ask. Well, the answer is that it will create 32 brand new millionaires, and at least 7 of those are guaranteed to be EuroMillions players in the UK. Add in the regular EuroMillions jackpots that are up for grabs this week and players have a massive amount to get excited about.
It all begins on Tuesday 25 October, when the jackpot in the main EuroMillions game is expected to be worth a very impressive £44 million. On the same night, every ticket purchased in the UK for that game will also have a chance of winning one of five guaranteed prizes of £1 million each in Millionaire Maker.
If all of that isn’t enough to stir your lottery loins, things will get even more exciting on Friday 28 October, when the first ever European Millionaire Maker draw will take place. That draw will create 25 winners of €1 million each, but the extra good news for UK players is that, if any UK ticket wins one of those prizes, the sum will be converted to pounds sterling and topped up to a cool £1 million each. In addition, Millionaire Maker will create another two £1 million winners in the UK.
With 32 brand new millionaires sure to be created between now and the end of the week, lottery players who fancy winning themselves seven figures or more would do well to take full advantage of both games. The most overdue main numbers as we head towards the EuroMillions game this Tuesday (using the All Draws setting on our EuroMillions Statistics page) are 47, 18, 33, 03 and 36, and the most overdue Lucky Stars are 05 and 07. The most overdue numbers since the rule change in September are 06, 41, 39, 43 and 35, along with the Lucky Stars 12 and 02.
Demand for EuroMillions tickets is expected to be especially high this week, so players who want to get involved in the Mega Week draws are being advised to obtain their entries for both games as soon as possible in order to avoid any last-minute glitches. Don’t forget that the midweek Lotto game will also offer a top prize that is well worth winning on Wednesday, with an estimated jackpot of around £5.8 million.
