EuroMillions Mega Week Offers 100-Day Trip Around the World
Updated: Friday 27th September 2019
UK EuroMillions players could win one of ten luxurious trips around the world or even a jackpot of £109 million thanks to September’s Mega Week draws. The last Tuesday and Friday draws of each month now offer enhanced prizes and are designated as Mega Week, replacing Mega Friday, which was drawn for the last time on Friday 26th August.
The new addition to the way EuroMillions is played in the UK comes at the same time as changes to the game are made across the nine participating nations. Starting jackpots will increase in value, an extra Lucky Star will be added to the matrix and a number of supplementary games will be launched across the continent when the adjustments are made following the draw on Friday 23rd September.
The first draw of Mega Week falls on Tuesday 27th September, when ten players who match one of the Millionaire Maker codes drawn will receive £1 million and a choice of two itineraries that will take them to some of the world’s most exciting and breathtaking destinations. Each winner and their guest can choose to visit Italy, South Africa, the Maldives, New Zealand, Tahiti, Los Angeles and Mexico with the first option, or St Lucia, New York, Hawaii, Australia, Philippines, Japan and Thailand thanks to the second itinerary. The holiday can be taken in one block, or spread out over four years.
Flights will be business class where available and winners will stay in five star luxury wherever they go. Breakfast is served every day at the hotel, with generous allowances paid for other meals, and the lucky ticket holders will be provided with an activity worth up to £1,000 per person at every location.
The second draw of Mega Week will see the EuroMillions jackpot stand at an estimated £109 million (guaranteed €130 million), which will become the standard top prize for such events following the changes to the game. To find out more about Mega Week, visit the dedicated page.
EuroMillions is played again on Friday, with a jackpot worth £33 million up for grabs. You can buy EuroMillions tickets online or from authorised retailers across the nine participating nations. Good luck!Published: Thursday 15th September 2016
