EuroMillions Mega Friday Success
Updated: Tuesday 4th November 2014
The first ever EuroMillions Mega Friday draw took place last Friday and although the jackpot in the main game rolled over, there were still plenty of lives changed in a very big way thanks to the Millionaire Maker, which created 25 winners of £1,000,000 each. As well as receiving the cash prize just mentioned, each of the Millionaire Maker winners will be able to celebrate their success for two weeks on a private island with seven guests, so well done to everyone concerned. The next Mega Friday draw will take place on 28 November.
The main numbers drawn in the EuroMillions game on Friday 31 October were 10, 13, 20, 33 and 41, and the Lucky Star numbers were 03 and 09. The jackpot was worth £11.76 million, but the biggest winners in the main game were found at the second tier, where five tickets – one of which had been purchased in the UK – matched all five main numbers and one of the the Lucky Stars to win £255,073 each.
There were 10 tickets that matched five main numbers only, and each of those won €59,299 because none of them had been purchased by UK players. Another 88 tickets won £2,415 each by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars, and over 3.14 million prizes were won at the lower prize tiers by tickets matching fewer numbers.
We have already said that 25 players each won £1,000,000 and a private island getaway thanks to the Mega Friday draw, and all of the winning Millionaire Maker numbers can be viewed by visiting our EuroMillions Results page, so do take a look at those if you haven't already.
Although we will have to wait until the end of the month for the next Mega Friday draw, we don't have to wait long at all for the next chance to win the EuroMillions jackpot. The EuroMillions game this Tuesday 4 November will offer a jackpot with an estimated value of £17 million, so head this way to buy your tickets online and you just might have an extra special reason to celebrate with fireworks this Bonfire Night! Enjoy the game and good luck!
