EuroMillions Won in Switzerland
The latest EuroMillions jackpot was won by a single ticket that had been purchased in Switzerland. The EuroMillions results for Tuesday 16 July were 19, 23, 34, 47 and 50, and the Lucky Star numbers were 04 and 06. This is only the second jackpot win that Switzerland has enjoyed since the start of the year – the previous win was achieved on Tuesday 19 February and worth £52.3 million. The jackpot this time was worth £19,201,363, and a fresh jackpot of around £13 million will be available for EuroMillions players this Friday.
Three tickets matched all five of the main numbers that were drawn, as well as one Lucky Star, to secure a second tier consolation prize worth £239,904 each, and another three tickets won £79,968 each by matching the five main numbers only. 42 tickets matched four main numbers plus both Lucky Stars to win £2,789 each, and the total number of winning entries on Tuesday was 1,678,843. UK players landed over £2.25 million in prize money, and that isn’t including the £1 million prize that went to the player who matched the Millionaire Raffle number YZD511619.
Talking of the Millionaire Raffle game, there is now just over a week to go before the special Millionaire Raffle draw on Friday 26 July, which will see 100 players win £1,000,000 each. You can enter your EuroMillions numbers for up to eight consecutive draws in advance, so if you were to enter your numbers for the next three draws you would guarantee your chance of winning in the 100 millionaire event. Of course, you would have a chance of winning the main EuroMillions jackpot in the next three games too.
Those of you who like to follow our EuroMillions statistics might be interested to note that the most overdue main numbers are currently 02, 21, 39, 46 and 03, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 08 and 09.
We are obviously look forward to the next EuroMillions game this Friday, but in the meantime we have a midweek Lotto jackpot of around £2 million to play for this evening. The Lotto game has created jackpot winners in 16 of the last 18 draws, which is a strike rate of over 88%, so visit this page to buy your tickets online and you could be the next player to win big! Good luck!
