EuroMillions Jackpot Snowballs

EuroMillions Jackpot Snowballs

December is the time when people start predicting whether or not the UK will enjoy (or suffer) a white Christmas, and the EuroMillions jackpot seems to be getting into the festive spirit by snowballing to bigger proportions with every draw. Yes, the top prize eluded players everywhere once again last Friday night, so the next game this Tuesday 8 December will be worth a massive £36 million to the winner, which should be more than enough for anyone who fancies spending the rest of the month in sunnier climes.

The main numbers drawn in the EuroMillions game on Friday 4 December were 08, 17, 18, 27 and 39, whilst the Lucky Star numbers were 01 and 07. There were five tickets that won their owners £249,490  each by matching all five of the main number along with one of the Lucky Stars, and we can confirm that one of those tickets had been purchased right here in the UK, so well done to the lucky owner!

Twelve tickets won £34,651 each at the third prize level by matching the five main numbers only, and there were 97 entries that matched four main numbers plus both Lucky Stars to win £2,143 each. Over 2.93 million prizes were won by tickets matching fewer numbers, and the total amount of cash won by players in the UK was £3,503,583. In addition, another £1,000,000 was won by the UK player who matched the Millionaire Maker number, which was VTD028403.

One of the Lucky Star numbers that appeared on Friday (the number 01) had previously been highlighted as one of the most overdue, so it was good to see our EuroMillions Statistics prove useful once again. The most overdue main numbers as we approach the first draw of this week are 24, 41, 05, 31 and 44, and the most overdue Lucky Stars are now 05 and 03.

Will any of those numbers help someone to land the £36 million jackpot this Tuesday, or will the top prize continue snowballing? Download one of our free Lottery Apps to get the results delivered straight to your mobile device and you’ll soon find out. Good luck!
