EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls to Friday
The EuroMillions lottery jackpot eluded players for the fourth draw in a row last night, and that means the top prize in the next game this Friday 5 September will be worth around £37 million. Superstitious types might be interested to note that the number 37 is one of the main numbers (along with 06, 14, 03 and 28) that is most overdue to make an appearance. In addition, the most overdue Lucky Star numbers right now are 09 and 05, which just happen to correlate with the month and date of the next draw...
We will have to wait and see if any of those numbers help someone to win big in the next game, but right now there are plenty of lottery players who should be checking to see if they won any of the 1.56 million consolation prizes that were landed in the midweek game. For those of you who haven't yet checked your tickets, the EuroMillions results for Tuesday 2 September were 05, 25, 31, 39 and 45, and the Lucky Star numbers were 01 and 08.
Although no EuroMillions entry was able to win the jackpot, two tickets won their owners the life-changing sum of £369,962 each by matching five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars, so well done to the players concerned. At the third tier prize level, seven tickets matched five main numbers only to win £35,234 each, whilst four times as many winners were found at the fifth tier, where a prize of £4,404 was awarded to each ticket matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars.
All other winning entries won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers, and the smallest prize – for tickets that matched two main numbers only – was worth £3. The winning Millionaire Raffle number on Tuesday was PRS059299, so whoever owns the ticket bearing that same number can now claim a prize of £1,000,000.
Well done to everyone who won a EuroMillions prize last night, and good luck to those of you who will be having a go at winning the £37 million jackpot on Friday. Before we get to that game, don't forget that there is a midweek Lotto jackpot of around £2.1 million to play for this evening, so head this way to buy your tickets online and be sure to let us know if you win big!
