EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls to Friday
The penultimate EuroMillions draw of the month last night gave players an opportunity to win a brand new jackpot worth £12.5 million. No ticket succeeded in matching all seven of the numbers that were drawn in the game, so the jackpot rolled over and EuroMillions fans will have the even bigger sum of £20 million to play for this Friday 28 March. The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 25 March were 07, 20, 26, 28 and 50, and the Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 08.
Five tickets matched the five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars to win a second tier consolation prize worth €195,729 each, and we quote that figure in euros because none of the winners had bought their ticket in the UK. One of three tickets that matched five main numbers only had been purchased in this country, and the third tier prize that went to each of those tickets was worth £73,167 each.
There were 44 tickets that managed to match four of the five main numbers as well as both of the Lucky Star numbers to win £2,494 each, and 666 entries matched four main numbers and one Lucky Star to secure a more modest prize of £144 each. The total number of prizes won on Tuesday was 1,733,970, and tickets purchased in the UK shared £1,636,216 in prize money. Add in a Millionaire Raffle prize of £1 million for the player who matched the number JZQ328601 and it was a pretty good night despite the fact that the main EuroMillions jackpot rolled over.
EuroMillions players who want to have a go at landing the £20 million jackpot that will be up for grabs this Friday might also want to consider playing one or more of the most common numbers. If so, the main numbers to think about including on your ticket are 50, 04, 44, 19 and 38, whilst the most common Lucky Star numbers are 05 and 02. Before we get to the big game on Friday we have a midweek Lotto game to enjoy, and the draw this evening will offer a rollover jackpot with an estimated value of £6.5 million. The Lotto Raffle game will also create 100 winners of £20,000 each, so visit this page to buy your lottery tickets online right now and good luck for tonight!
