EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls into 2014!

EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls into 2014!

Happy New Year! There were plenty of things to shout about last night, but winning the EuroMillions jackpot wasn’t one of them because the top prize rolled over for the ninth time in a row. The good news is that there are 25 lottery players who can celebrate winning a New Year’s Eve Millionaire Raffle prize of £1 million each, and the latest rollover in the main game means that the first EuroMillions jackpot of 2014 will be worth an estimated £93 million!

There were a dozen tickets that matched all of the main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers last night. Two of those tickets had been purchased in the UK, and the prize landed by the lucky owners was worth £125,281 each. Surprisingly, there were half as many winning tickets at the third tier level, but four of the six entries that matched the five main numbers only had been bought by UK players, and the prize landed by each was worth a very useful £83,520.

A fourth tier prize of £2,480 went to each of 101 tickets that matched four main numbers as well as both Lucky Star numbers, whilst another 1,558 tickets matched four main numbers and one Lucky Star to win a more modest prize of £140 each. The total number of prizes won in the main game was 3,826,603, and the total amount of cash landed by UK players was £5,551,412.

In addition to all of that, 25 players in the UK won £1 million each in the Millionaire Raffle game. We don’t have space to list the winning raffle numbers here, but you can view them all on our dedicated EuroMillions Results page for last night’s draw.

Well done to everyone who ended 2013 with a EuroMillions or Millionaire Raffle win, and good luck to those of you who will try and land an even bigger prize in the £93 million jackpot game this Friday. Don’t forget that the first Lotto game of the New Year could also make you exceedingly rich – tonight’s triple rollover jackpot will be worth around £11.4 million and there are 200 Lotto Raffle prizes of £20,000 each to be won too!
