EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls Again!

EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls Again!

For the sixth time in succession, no ticket was able to match all seven numbers that were drawn in the most recent EuroMillions game, and so the jackpot, which had weighed in at £43.36 million, rolled over yet again. That turn of events will give lottery players around £51 million to pursue on Friday, but first they have a midweek Lotto jackpot of around £11.7 million – plus two Lotto Millionaire Raffle Prizes of £1 million each – to play for this evening.

Those of you who haven’t yet checked your EuroMillions tickets will be interested to note that the five main numbers drawn on Tuesday 3 May were 08, 23, 24, 34 and 38, and the Lucky Star numbers were 03 and 07. We have already established that none of Tuesday’s participants landed the biggest prize of all, but the second tier proved to be much luckier for one player in Spain who correctly matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star number to win an impressive €1,073,862.

There were seven tickets that matched the five main numbers only to win a third tier prize worth €51,136 each, but none of those tickets had been purchased in the UK. Fortunately, Brits fared much better at the lower levels, and 14 of 71 tickets that won £1,782 each by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars, had been bought in this country.

The total number of consolation prizes that were won in Tuesday’s EuroMillions game was 1,864,119, and 402,295 of those were landed by tickets purchased in the UK. The total amount of cash won by UK players was £1,763,296, and an additional £1,000,000 went to another UK participant who correctly matched the winning Millionaire Maker code, which was WJZ710336.

Tonight’s £11.7 million midweek Lotto game will give lottery fans another chance to get rich quick, but even if that top prize rolls over, two players are guaranteed to win a Lotto Millionaire Raffle prize worth £1 million each. In addition, 20 players are sure to end the night with a Lotto Raffle prize of £20,000 each.
