EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls Again!
Updated: Tuesday 8th April 2014
The EuroMillions jackpot rolled for the third draw in a row last night, setting things up for a £38 million triple rollover jackpot game this Friday. The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 17 September were 13, 17, 21, 42 and 44, with the numbers 09 and 11 selected as the Lucky Stars. Whilst no player was able to win the £29 million jackpot, more than 1.87 million tickets won a consolation prize, and the combined value of prize money landed by UK players was £2,402,654!
There were three second tier prize winners in the Tuesday EuroMillions game, and two of them had purchased their tickets right here in the UK. The prize for each of those players, who succeeded by matching all five main numbers and one Lucky Star, was a very handy £256,130.
Given the success of UK players at the second tier level, we might have expected even more at the third tier, but that wasn’t the case. Although ten tickets won a third tier prize (worth €36,358) by matching five main numbers only, none of those tickets had been entered by Brits. Fortunately, there were plenty of home-grown winners at all of the lower levels, and at the fourth tier there were a total of 39 tickets that won £3,283 each by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. We should also mention that another lucky lottery fan in this country matched the Millionaire Raffle number VHJ191925 last night to win a cool £1 million.
Now UK lottery players are in the enviable position of having a double rollover jackpot of £8.8 million to try and land in the midweek Lotto game this evening (Wednesday 18 September) as well as a triple rollover jackpot of £38 million in the EuroMillions game this Friday. Enter both of these games and you might even be lucky enough to win a prize in each!
Talking of tonight’s Lotto game, the most overdue Lotto numbers right now are 02, 36, 22, 32, 10 and 44. In the EuroMillions game, the overdue main numbers are 46, 22, 08, 41 and 10, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 03 and 01.
