EuroMillions Jackpot Hits Nine Figures
The estimated jackpot for the next EuroMillions game this Friday 02 September has hit nine figures (£100,000,000) after no player won the top prize on Tuesday 30 August. The EuroMillions results on Tuesday were 02, 08, 10, 19 and 46, with 05 and 09 being drawn as the Lucky Star numbers. As regular players will no doubt be aware, the EuroMillions jackpot has now rolled over in each of the last nine consecutive draws, so plenty of people will be wondering if the coming tenth draw since the last win will finally bring the dry spell to an end.
If the dry spell does come to an end this Friday then the eventual jackpot winner(s) will be extremely well rewarded with the £100,000,000 prize or a share thereof. That fact will no doubt motivate many players to buy a few more lottery tickets than usual in an effort to increase their chances of winning, and with so much money up for grabs – alongside the fact that every entry has a 1 in 13 chance of winning any prize at all – we think that such an approach has a lot going for it!
Whilst the jackpot remained elusive last Tuesday 30 August, one player in the UK did manage to become a millionaire by matching the Millionaire Raffle number QKQ598229. As always, we will bring you any further details about that winner should he or she choose to go public at some point.
Four players won a second-tier EuroMillions prize of £242,189 each by matching all five main numbers and one of the two Lucky Stars, whilst eight other players each picked up a prize of £40,365 for matching five main numbers only. There were of course plenty of winners at the fourth-tier level and below, and in total more than 2.46 million prizes were won in the previous draw, which is pretty impressive for a midweek EuroMillions lottery game!
Although the £100,000,000 EuroMillions jackpot this Friday will be dominating the attention of most lottery players this week, don’t forget that there is a perfectly respectable rollover jackpot of around £6.6 million to play for in the Lotto game tonight (Wednesday 31 August). Buy your lottery tickets for both games today and good luck!
