EuroMillions Jackpot Hit for Six!
The EuroMillions jackpot rolled over for the sixth time in a row last night and, unfortunately, UK players also missed out on prizes at both the second and third tier levels. The good news is that Brits collectively won over £2.15 million in prize money at the lower tiers, one player won the life-changing sum of £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number JDD298799, and we will all have the chance to land a jackpot that is expected to be worth around £60 million this Friday 16 August!
For the benefit of those of you who haven’t yet checked your tickets, the EuroMillions results for Tuesday 13 August were 05, 17, 20, 47 and 50, and the Lucky Star numbers were 01 and 04. One player outside the UK won a second tier prize worth €1,218,458 by matching all five main numbers and one Lucky Star, and another four players – who also bought their tickets outside the UK – matched five main numbers only to win €101,538 each.
There were 28 winning tickets at the fourth tier prize level, each winning £4,755 for matching four main numbers as well as both Lucky Stars, and we are pleased to report that 9 of those tickets had been purchased by UK players. 797 tickets matched four main numbers and one Lucky Star to win £146 each, and all other winners landed smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers.
Every one of those wins is well worth celebrating, but there is no doubt that being able to celebrate a £60 million jackpot win would be even better. Whilst it is impossible to know which numbers will come up before the event takes place, many players who follow EuroMillions statistics will be pinning their hopes on numbers that haven’t been drawn for some time. The most overdue main numbers right now are 02, 39, 46, 06 and 22, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 10 and 02. At the opposite extreme, the most common main numbers are 50, 04, 11, 44 and 19, and the most common Lucky Star numbers are 03 and 05.
Will any of the numbers just mentioned help someone to win themselves a £60 million fortune this Friday? You’ll just have to head this way to buy your tickets online, then wait and see. In the meantime, don’t forget that you can also play for a midweek Lotto jackpot of £2 million this evening, so if you don’t want to wait to seize another opportunity to get rich quick, you don’t have to! Good luck!
