EuroMillions Climbs to Greater Heights
The EuroMillions jackpot rolled over for the sixth time in a row on Friday, which means that the top prize continues to climb to greater heights. Lottery players haven’t seen the jackpot landed since Friday 20 November, when a single ticket won £114.8 million. The estimated value of the top prize for the next game this Tuesday 15 December is £51 million, and whilst we don’t know whether or not someone will win that sum, we can be certain that the associated Millionaire Maker game will create one UK millionaire, whatever happens.
The EuroMillions game last Friday 11 December produced the main numbers 03, 05, 21, 40 and 43, along with the Lucky Star numbers 06 and 11. There were two tickets that came just one Lucky Star number short of winning the £45 million jackpot, and each of those entries – both of which had been purchased overseas – won their owners a second tier prize worth €841,043.
A third tier prize worth £43,356 went to each of ten tickets that matched the five main numbers only, and we are pleased to report that one of those tickets had been purchased in the UK. One fifth of the 40 tickets that won £5,419 each at the fourth tier had also been bought in this country, and the total amount of cash won by UK tickets exceeded £3.53 million. The winning Millionaire Maker number last Friday was XTR131816.
Followers of our EuroMillions Statistics will have been pleased to see the number 05 appear last Friday, as that was one of the most overdue main numbers. The most overdue main numbers to look out for in the next game on Tuesday are 24, 41, 31, 44 and 22, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers continue to be 05 and 03.
Will it be seventh time lucky for EuroMillions jackpot hunters this Tuesday, or will the top prize roll over once again? The only way to find out is to wait and see, so keep an eye on our EuroMillions Results page, which will be updated as soon as the draw has taken place, and good luck with your numbers!Monday 14th December 2015
