EuroMillions Double Rollover this Friday!
There will be a double rollover jackpot with an estimated value of £28 million to play for in the EuroMillions game this Friday 8 February because none of the tickets entered for the midweek draw managed to hook the top prize. The jackpot on Tuesday 5 February was worth a shade over £19 million, and the results were 06, 25, 31, 40 and 45, along with the Lucky Star numbers 06 and 07. Whilst a Tuesday jackpot win would have made for a great ‘hump day’ news item, having an even bigger game to play at the end of the week is a fine alternative.
With the jackpot giving participants the slip for the second draw in a row, the best that any player could do in the main game was match the five main numbers and one Lucky Star for a second-tier prize of £240,944 each. Three players did just that, and two of them had bought their tickets right here in the UK. Two other tickets won €173,685 each by matching five main numbers only, and the fact that we quoted that prize figure in euros should have given you the hint that Brits weren’t quite so successful at the third-tier.
31 players matched four of the main numbers plus both Lucky Star numbers to win £3,886 each at the fourth-tier prize level, and 634 tickets won their owners £166 each by matching four main numbers with one Lucky Star. The total number of prizes won was in excess of 1 .5 million, and players in the UK shared more than £2.35 million in prize money. Another UK player won a separate prize of £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number TDK919076, so it was a very rewarding night despite the jackpot rolling.
Like many lottery players, we love spotting a coincidence, so how about this: The next EuroMillions game takes place on 02/08/13 and the jackpot is estimated to be worth around £28 million. The main number 13 is one of the most overdue to be drawn (along with 46, 12, 33 and 15) and the Lucky Star number 08 is also one of the most overdue (the other being 05)…
Is this some kind of cosmic sign? A numerological nudge from another dimension? We highly doubt it, but if you want to have a go at landing the double-rollover this Friday anyway, head in this direction to buy your tickets and your numbers just might work some financial magic on your behalf. Don’t forget that you can also play for a Lotto jackpot of around £2.1 million this evening (Wednesday 6 February), so enter that game too and you’ll have an even better chance of becoming a millionaire in time for the weekend. Good luck!
