EuroMillions Countdown Has Started
Updated: Thursday 24th April 2014
The countdown to the first Tuesday EuroMillions draw on Tuesday 10 May has started, and that means players who normally enter the same numbers for several consecutive draws will be able to play for up to four draws in advance only until the next game this Friday. Players can then play for up to three draws in advance from Saturday 16 April, for up to two draws in advance from Saturday 23 April and for just one draw from Saturday 30 April. Then, from Saturday 7 May, you will be able to enter your numbers for up to four draws in advance as usual – but remember that doing so will include draws held on both Tuesdays and Fridays.
Whilst the first Tuesday EuroMillions draw – which will boast an £85 million Mega Jackpot - is something that lottery players are naturally getting excited about, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about the next draw this Friday 15 April. That’s because the next EuroMillions draw will be for a rollover jackpot worth around £25 million after no player managed to win the jackpot last Friday 8 April. The EuroMillions results last Friday were 21, 23, 38, 47 and 50, with the numbers 02 and 06 drawn as the Lucky Stars. The Millionaire Raffle number last Friday – which always makes one player £1 million richer – was WQL674527.
But wait – there’s even more to get excited about. The Lotto rollover jackpot last Saturday 9 April also eluded players, so there is a double rollover Lotto jackpot of around £10.4 million to play for this Wednesday 13 April. The Lotto results last Saturday were 06, 08, 17, 21, 39 and 47, and the number 22 was drawn as the Bonus Ball.
Presenting all of that news in such a short period of time might be a bit mind-boggling, so allow us to summarise as follows:
- First, there is a Lotto double rollover jackpot of around £10.4 million to play for this Wednesday 13 April.
- Next, there is a EuroMillions rollover jackpot of around £25 million to play for this Friday 15 April.
- Last, but not least, the number of draws for which you can buy tickets in advance (currently four) will reduce at the rate of one per week until Saturday 7 May, at which point you can buy tickets for the first Tuesday EuroMillions game which will have a Mega Jackpot of £85 million up for grabs.
