EuroMillions and Lotto Jackpots Won!

EuroMillions and Lotto Jackpots Won!
Updated: Wednesday 9th April 2014

We might have lost some sleep over the Easter weekend thanks to the clocks going forward by one hour, but lottery players gained plenty of cash to make up for it. The biggest successes in the EuroMillions and Lotto games were at the top tier, and in each case the jackpot was won outright by a single ticket. The EuroMillions jackpot had a final value of £112,017,541 and was won by a ticket purchased in France, whilst the Lotto jackpot – which was obviously landed by a player in the UK – beat estimates by weighing in at £4,293,105.

The EuroMillions results on Friday 29 March were 13, 30, 43, 44 and 46, with the numbers 05 and 09 appearing as the Lucky Stars. There were more than 4.39 million prizes won in addition to the jackpot mentioned a few moments ago, and the biggest went to five tickets that matched the five main numbers plus one Lucky Star to win £395,566 each. The good news for patriotic types is that two of those tickets had been bought right here in the UK.

There were nine winning tickets at the third-tier prize level, and each of those won £73,253 by matching five main numbers only, whilst 100 tickets matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win £3,296 each. The Millionaire Raffle number on Friday was MKY294628, so if you had that on your ticket you should now be thinking about claiming your prize of £1,000,000.

In the Lotto game on Saturday 30 March the results were 08, 15, 24, 40, 43 and 45, and the Bonus Ball was 33. The second-tier level was host to 12 tickets that matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £110,079 each, and 369 tickets won £2,237 each by matching five main numbers only. Over 437,000 tickets won prizes of £88 or £10 each by matching four or three main numbers.

All of that means that the Easter weekend went very well indeed for lottery players, and the good news is that we can now look forward to playing for brand new jackpots in the midweek draws over the next couple of days. Visit this page to buy tickets online and you can have a go at winning a EuroMillions jackpot of around £12 million on Tuesday, followed by a Lotto jackpot of around £2 million on Wednesday. Good luck!
