Eighth UK EuroMillions Jackpot Landed

Eighth UK EuroMillions Jackpot Landed

The eighth UK EuroMillions jackpot win of 2015 was achieved last Friday 2 October when one player matched the five main numbers 07, 18, 21, 32 and 35, along with the Lucky Star numbers 02 and 11. Eight jackpot wins in the bag as the year enters its tenth month is impressive, but what is even more impressive is the fact that three of those wins were landed in the last four weeks. The value of the jackpot that was won on Friday, which was the 54th jackpot landed in the UK since the game began, was £11,065,500.

There were 14 tickets that matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars on Friday to win a second tier prize of £79,097 each, and another 14 tickets won £26,365 each at the third tier by matching the five main numbers only. A prize of £3,237 went of each of 57 tickets that matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars, and over 2.47 million smaller prizes were won across the lower tiers. UK players won a total of more than £14.38 million in the main EuroMillions game, and a separate prize of £1 million was won by another UK player who matched the Millionaire Maker code YLM042120.

The Lucky Star number 11 which appeared last Friday had been highlighted on our EuroMillions Statistics page as one of the most overdue, so the most overdue Lucky Star numbers as we head towards the next game this Tuesday are 06 and 04. The most overdue main numbers are 25, 38, 24, 28 and 41. For those who prefer to follow the most common numbers, the main numbers to watch out for are 50, 44, 04, 19 and 23, and the most common Lucky Stars are 08 and 03.

With three EuroMillions jackpots won in the last four weeks, and thirteen weeks of the year remaining, there is still lots of time for the UK to win plenty more. The jackpot this Tuesday will be worth an estimated £11 million, so good luck to those of you who will be trying to win that sum and be sure to let us know if you succeed!
