Dream Number Game to End

Dream Number Game to End

The Dream Number lottery game will end at the beginning of 2011, with the last draw taking place on Wednesday 9th February. We assume that this will tie in with the launch of the new Lotto Plus 5 game that we announced previously, and we have to say that if we had to choose between the two then Lotto Plus 5 would win hands down, but of course other National Lottery players may disagree. Those who prefer Dream Number should therefore make the most of the draws that remain before the game ends in less than three months time.

Dream Number isn’t the most popular of lottery games, but it has been successful in achieving its aim of raising money for good causes. At the time of writing the Dream Number game has helped to raise more than £550 million for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. £750 million has been pledged for that particular cause, so there is still some way to go, but it looks like things are running according to plan quite nicely, and the new Lotto Plus 5 game will help to pick up any slack that appears when the Dream Number game ends.

Some lottery players will undoubtedly complain that the expiration of an established game like Dream Number and the launch of a new game like Lotto Plus 5 is unnecessary, but we would disagree. Like anything else, lottery games need to be reviewed from time to time so that they remain relevant and popular, and if it becomes apparent that people would be happier for one game to make way for a more exciting alternative then it seems reasonable to take that approach.

Of course, Dream Number will be with us for a while yet, so if you want to buy lottery tickets online for the next Dream Number draw this Saturday 13 November you can do so. You can also buy tickets for the EuroMillions draw on Friday 12 November, which has a jackpot of £13 million and will also make ten UK players £1 million richer thanks to the Millionaire Raffle special that we discussed a couple of days ago.

As if all of that wasn’t enough, the Lottery Casino is hosting a four day Cashback Bonanza from this Friday, so if you like playing online slots games you will definitely want to take a look at that too.

Whatever games you play over the next few days, have a great weekend and good luck in winning yourself big money!
