Double Rollover Jackpots Ahead!
Updated: Wednesday 10th December 2014
A second consecutive rollover in the EuroMillions game last night means that lottery players in the UK can now brace themselves for two massive jackpot games in the space of just a few days. The Lotto game this evening will offer a double rollover jackpot worth around £7.7 million, and then, regardless of what happens in the Lotto game, the EuroMillions draw this Friday will offer a double rollover jackpot worth an estimated £25 million.
The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 9 December were 01, 03, 31, 42 and 46, with the numbers 04 and 11 appearing as the Lucky Stars. Although no player won the jackpot, which had a final value of just over £17 million, one ticket was able to match all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars. We are delighted to report that the ticket just mentioned had been bought by a player in the UK, and he or she will now be able to celebrate Christmas with an extra £757,729 in the bank!
There were five tickets that won their owners £50,515 each by matching the five main numbers only, and two of those tickets had been purchased in this country. Another 34 tickets won £3,714 each by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars, and over 1.46 million entries landed smaller prizes at the lower levels by matching fewer numbers. The total amount of cash won by UK players was in excess of £2.9 million, and another £1 million was landed by the player who matched the Millionaire Maker code, which was XFS947413.
Congratulations to everyone who won a EuroMillions prize of any size last night, and especially to those who succeeded at the higher levels. Players who want to take another shot at winning eight figures – or another Millionaire Maker prize of £1 million – can of course do so this Friday.
In the meantime, there is the double rollover jackpot of around £7.7 million to pursue in the Lotto game this evening. Click here to enter your numbers online and this time tomorrow you could be the richest person you know, by far! Enjoy the draw and good luck!
