Double Rollover Jackpot on Friday

Double Rollover Jackpot on Friday
Updated: Wednesday 6th August 2014

There will be a double rollover lottery jackpot up for grabs this Friday 8 August thanks to no player succeeding in matching all seven of the numbers drawn in the first EuroMillions game of the week. The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 5 August were 05, 07, 19, 21 and 42, and the Lucky Star numbers were 05 and 11. A rollover in the previous draw had helped the jackpot to reach a final value of just over £17 million, so the estimated value of the jackpot in the next game this Friday is £24 million.

No UK tickets succeeded at the second tier prize level last night, but five tickets that had been purchased elsewhere matched the five main numbers as well as one of the Lucky Stars to win €194,005 each. Three of seven winning tickets at the third tier had been bought by UK players, and each of those won £32,968 by matching five main numbers only.

There were 42 entries that matched four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars to win £2,747 each at the fourth tier, and more than 1.86 million tickets won smaller prizes at the lower levels. All of that means that the biggest winner in the UK was the player who matched the Millionaire Raffle number FPV077653 to secure a life-changing prize worth £1 million.

The double rollover jackpot on Friday will no doubt be one that inspires millions to get involved in the next EuroMillions game, but right now lottery fans in the UK can play for a jackpot in a game that is just hours away from being played. We are of course referring to the midweek Lotto, which will boast a jackpot worth around £2.1 million. The most overdue numbers as we approach that game are 46, 41, 21, 32, 44 and 16, so it will be interesting to see if any of those help someone to win big this evening.

Whatever numbers you choose to enter for the midweek Lotto draw, click here to buy your tickets online, good luck and remember to let us know if you land the jackpot!
