Double Rollover for Friday EuroMillions
There will be a double-rollover jackpot with an estimated value of £27 million offered by the EuroMillions game this Friday 1 March because none of the tickets entered for last night’s draw were able to catch all five main numbers as well as both Lucky Star numbers. Although just one jackpot has been landed in the current month (worth £60.2 million to one Swiss player on Tuesday 19 February), eight players in the UK have still managed to become millionaires thanks to the Millionaire Raffle game, and millions of other tickets have won consolation prizes, so our heartiest congratulations go to all concerned.
The EuroMillions results for Tuesday 26 February were 03, 12, 13, 17 and 30, and the Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 06. Just one ticket matched all five of those main numbers as well as one Lucky Star to win a second-tier prize worth €1,029,097, whilst eleven tickets (two of which had been bought by UK players) matched the five main numbers only to win a third-tier prize of £20,107 each.
As always, the number of winners increased from there, with each tier beneath the top three boasting a greater quantity of successful tickets. There were 81 tickets that matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win £1,365 each, 1,042 tickets won £92 each by matching four main numbers plus one Lucky Star, and the total number of prize-winning tickets last night was 2,032,979. The Millionaire Raffle number that made an eighth UK player £1,000,000 richer this month was BGF146517.
With the last EuroMillions game of the month having been played, we can now look forward to the chance of winning that double-rollover jackpot of £27 million in the first game of March this Friday.
In the meantime, we shouldn’t forget that February isn’t quite over yet, and tonight there are two big midweek Lotto jackpots to play for. The UK Lotto will offer a brand new jackpot of around £2.1 million, whilst the jackpot in the Irish Lottery game is expected to be worth around €6 million. Head this way to buy lottery tickets for all of the draws that you are interested in, and good luck with your entries!
