Double Rollover for EuroMillions

Double Rollover for EuroMillions
Updated: Friday 10th October 2014

The EuroMillions jackpot of £27 million eluded players for the second week running last Friday, so there is a massive double rollover jackpot of £39 million on offer this Friday 16 October, 2009. Lotto players had better luck last Saturday, with two players matching the six main numbers to each win a half share of the £5.22 million jackpot.

There are only a few weeks to go until the EuroMillions tickets go up in price to accommodate the new Millionaire Raffle game, so having a £39 million double rollover jackpot to play for at the current ticket price is great news for players. In fact, now would be an excellent time for all players in the UK to make the most of the current ticket prices by buying themselves one or two extra chances to win. You will of course be able to do this after the Millionaire Raffle has been introduced, but doing it now will cost you less!

Although the big EuroMillions jackpot wasn’t won last Friday, plenty of smaller prizes were won by players in the UK. One lucky player matched five main numbers and one of the two Lucky Star numbers to win a second-tier prize worth £437,940 – not bad at all for a consolation prize and certainly enough to fund a few early Christmas shopping trips!

Of course, before we get to the double rollover jackpot on Friday we have a Lotto jackpot of £2.4 million to play for this Wednesday 14 October. Those of you who are sensible enough to buy lottery tickets online (and thereby keep your entries as safe and secure as they can get) will obviously be able to buy tickets for the Wednesday Lotto draw, the Friday double rollover EuroMillions game and the Saturday Lotto draw in a few clicks of your mouse button.
