Déjà Vu for Lottery Players
Last week we told you that the midweek Lotto jackpot had been shared by two players whilst the EuroMillions jackpot eluded everyone and rolled over. Well, we can now tell you exactly the same thing about the lottery draws that were held last Friday and Saturday! First, the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 17 February rolled over, giving players a triple-rollover jackpot of around £34 million to play for this Tuesday. Then, on Saturday, two winning tickets landed the Lotto jackpot, and each of those tickets is now worth £2,147,797!
The results in the EuroMillions game on Friday were 04, 11, 28, 38 and 47, and the Lucky Star numbers were 10 and 11. There were eight tickets that matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star number, including one that had been purchased here in the UK, and each of those tickets won a second-tier prize of £156,348. At the third-tier prize level, 15 tickets matched the five main numbers without either Lucky Star to win £27,795 each.
39 tickets won £5,345 each after matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. There were over 2.9 million EuroMillions prizes won in total last Friday, but the biggest winner of all was the owner of the ticket that matched the number YDZ413488 in the Millionaire Raffle game, because that player is now £1,000,000 richer!
The jackpot was much more forthcoming in the Lotto game on Saturday 18 February and the winning numbers were 02, 19, 22, 30, 33 and 41, with number 24 appearing as the Bonus Ball. 10 tickets matched five main numbers as well as the Bonus Ball to win £132,172 each and another 487 tickets won £1,696 each by matching five main numbers only. Now that the jackpot has been won, the next jackpot this Wednesday 22 February will be worth around £2.2 million.
We would like to say well done to everyone who won a prize of any size last Friday and Saturday, and those of you who didn’t win can have another attempt at doing so this week. You can buy your lottery tickets online for both the EuroMillions game on Tuesday and the Lotto game on Wednesday. Do that now and we could well be writing about your success by the end of the week!
