Congrats to Christmas Lottery Winners

Congrats to Christmas Lottery Winners
Updated: Monday 20th July 2015

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day saw 28 lottery tickets win prizes of £1,000,000 or more, so there are at least that many people who have cause to continue their celebrations - there could well be more major league celebrants if any of the prizes were won by a syndicate rather than an individual. 26 of the 28 millionaire-making prizes were won on Christmas Eve, with the EuroMillions making one jackpot winner £16,301,884 richer. The other 25 Christmas Eve seven-figure winners won £1 million each in the Super Millionaire Raffle draw, and two more lottery players shared a Lotto jackpot of £7,162,962 on Christmas Day.

The EuroMillions results which created the biggest winner on Christmas Eve were 19, 36, 38, 42 and 46, and the Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 08. Whilst the attention of most people was fixed on the jackpot prize itself, eight players had good cause to focus on the second tier prize, because they won £388,384 each by matching the five main numbers and one of the two Lucky Stars. 10 players picked up £88,174 each for matching the five main numbers only, and 177 players won £3,558 each for matching four main numbers and both lucky stars.

The Super Millionaire Raffle draw was an exciting event and we have already detailed all of the winning numbers for this game, so if you haven’t yet checked your tickets be sure to take a look at the Christmas Eve Millionaire Super Raffle results to see if you are one of the lucky winners.

As far as the Lotto game was concerned on Christmas Day itself, the Lotto results were 13, 15, 22, 25, 33 and 34, with the number 17 being drawn as the Bonus Ball. Two players matched all six main numbers to win a half-share of the jackpot, making each one £3,581,481 richer. Another eight players won £178,989 each by matching five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball.

We congratulate each and every one of the people who won a lottery prize this festive season, and for those of you who didn’t manage to win a major prize there is still time to do so before the end of the year. You can buy lottery tickets here for the Lotto game this Wednesday 29 December, where the jackpot will be around £2.4 million, and you can also buy tickets for the EuroMillions draw on Friday 31 December (New Year’s Eve) where the jackpot will be worth around £12 million. Good luck!
