Celebrations for Ten UK Millionaires!
Updated: Monday 3rd August 2015
Celebrations are in order for ten EuroMillions players in the UK thanks to each of them winning a cool £1 million in the Mega Friday Millionaire Maker game. The jackpot in the main game was won by a single ticket that had been purchased in France, and the lucky winner can now claim the massive sum of €24,939,216, so we congratulate the player concerned. For those of you who haven’t yet checked your entries, the EuroMillions results on Friday 31 July were 16, 21, 34, 40 and 50, with the numbers 06 and 09 appearing as the Lucky Stars.
There were four EuroMillions tickets that won £290,384 each at the second tier by matching the five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers, and two of those tickets had been bought in the UK. The third tier saw ten tickets match the five main numbers only to win £38,717 each, and 63 tickets won £3,072 each by matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars.
The sums won at the lower levels were obviously smaller than those just mentioned, but more than 2.22 million consolation prizes were landed in total, and tickets purchased in the UK collectively won a total of £4,676,263 in the main game. On top of that, we have already said that there were ten tickets which won their owners a Millionaire Maker prize of £1 million each, and the winning codes were as follows:
As we said last week, each July Mega Friday winner will get to enjoy a luxury trip to New York City, so the ten lucky players can now start planning for that. As for the rest of us, we can now start thinking about the next EuroMillions game this Tuesday, when the brand new jackpot will be worth an estimated £10 million.
Three of the most overdue numbers appeared in last Friday’s EuroMillions game, and those were the main numbers 40 and 50, plus the Lucky Star number 06. The most overdue numbers to look out for in the next game are now 13, 39, 25, 47 and 26, along with the Lucky Stars 03 and 04. Whatever numbers you choose to play this Tuesday, enjoy the game and good luck!Published: Monday 3rd August 2015
