Celebrations for UK Lottery Millionaires!

Celebrations for UK Lottery Millionaires!

Celebrations are in order for ten lottery players in the UK who won themselves a Millionaire Maker prize of £1 million each in the latest Mega Friday game. Each of those winners will also enjoy a Private Island Getaway so that they can top-up their suntan as they think about what to do with their seven-figure bank balance, so even though the lucky players will probably be celebrating already, they are likely to want to celebrate again just as soon as they get to their island destination. For those of you who haven’t yet checked your tickets, the ten winning Millionaire Maker codes were as follows…

As far as the main EuroMillions game was concerned, one ticket that had been purchased in Belgium managed to match all five main numbers and both of the Lucky Star numbers to scoop the jackpot, which was worth €15 million. The EuroMillions results for Friday 28 August were 11, 29, 30, 31 and 34, with the numbers 04 and 07 appearing as the Lucky Stars. Belgium has now won the jackpot 25 times since EuroMillions began in 2004, which makes the country the fifth most successful of the nine participating nations as far as top prize wins are concerned.

There were four tickets that won their owners £270,418 each by matching the five main numbers as well as one of the Lucky Stars, and one of those tickets had been purchased by a player in the UK. Another UK ticket was among the three that matched five main numbers only to win £120,185 each.

The fourth tier was occupied by 67 tickets that succeeding in matching four of the main numbers and both Lucky Stars to secure a prize of £2,690 each, and more than 2.28 million entries won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers. The total amount of cash won by players in the UK – not including the £10 million landed in the Millionaire Maker game – was £4,326,118.

EuroMillions players will now have another brand new jackpot of around £10 million to play for in the next game this Tuesday 1 September. Do take a look at our EuroMillions Statistics page if you would like to play one or more of the most overdue numbers and good luck with your entries!
