Bumper Rollover Weekend!
For the second weekend running, National Lottery players have two fantastic rollover jackpots to play for. The Lotto jackpot has rolled over once and will be worth around £7 million on Saturday 7 November. However, before we get to that game we have a £90 million EuroMillions jackpot to have a go at, thanks to five consecutive rollovers. This gives us a combined jackpot total of £97 million to get excited about, and will make for a bumper rollover weekend that no lottery player can afford to miss!
The lottery results for the Lotto draw on Wednesday 4 November were 01, 02, 23, 39, 42 and 49. The bonus ball was number 05. The fact that we are playing for a rollover Lotto jackpot this Saturday obviously means that nobody matched all six main numbers on Wednesday, but two players did match five numbers and the bonus ball to win a very useful £412,501 each. Another 210 players matched five of the main numbers to win £2,455 each.
The EuroMillions numbers last Friday were 09, 33, 35, 38 and 40. The Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 06. Again, the jackpot wasn’t won, but six players matched the five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers to win €726,533 each. Another 17 players matched the five main numbers only to win €72,768 each.
As these results show, you don’t necessarily have to win a lottery jackpot to make a decent profit from your participation in Lotto and EuroMillions. In fact, the odds of winning any prize at all are better than many people realise. Lotto players have a 1 in 54 chance of winning any prize, and EuroMillions have a 1 in 24 chance of winning any prize. These odds are always the same regardless how large the jackpots are and also remain unchanged when you buy lottery tickets online.
There are just seven Saturday shopping days to go until Christmas, so if you fancy becoming a lottery millionaire in time for the festive season, this bumper rollover weekend could help you to make that dream come true. Good luck!Thursday 5th November 2009
