British Ticket Wins EuroMillions!
One ticket that had been purchased in the United Kingdom matched all seven numbers that were drawn in the EuroMillions game last night to win a jackpot worth £53,193,914. This brought a sequence of six consecutive rollovers to an end, and the numbers that finally yielded the jackpot were 08, 20, 24, 28 and 49, along with the Lucky Star numbers 08 and 09. The big question for the jackpot winner now is whether they should try to keep their success a secret or go public and share their joy with the rest of the nation.
A second tier prize of €1,277,754 was won by a single ticket at the second tier level, and we quote that figure in euros because the entry which matched all five main numbers plus one of the Lucky Stars had been purchased abroad. At the third tier prize level, nine tickets matched five main numbers only to win £36,534 each.
There were 46 entries that won their owners £3,574 each by matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars, and the total number of prizes landed was 2,079,179. The total amount of cash won by EuroMillions entries purchased in the UK was £56,012,098, and another prize of £1,000,000 was landed by a UK ticket thanks to the Millionaire Maker code LRN064671. The next EuroMillions game this Friday 3 April will now offer a brand new jackpot worth a guaranteed €15 million, which should equate to around £10 million.
Whilst the EuroMillions game built up to last night’s draw with a sequence of rollovers, the Lotto game this evening will come on the back of ten consecutive jackpot wins. Some of those jackpots have been shared by multiple winners, and some have been won outright, but the celebrations have come thick and fast regardless, with every Lotto game in March delivering the goods.
Players who want to see if they can help this winning trend to continue tonight will be pleased to hear that the jackpot is expected to be worth around £2 million. The most overdue numbers right now are 11, 31, 28, 32, 45 and 16, so it will be interesting to see if any of those make an appearance.
As the British EuroMillions jackpot winner has demonstrated already this week, winning big money can be just a ticket away, so click here to enter the midweek Lotto game online and good luck!
