Brit Shares Triple Rollover Win
Updated: Tuesday 22nd April 2014
Two tickets won the £41.68 million EuroMillions triple rollover jackpot on Friday 21 October, and we are delighted to report than one of those tickets had been purchased here in Britain (the other was bought in Spain), giving the owner a massive fortune of £20.84 million. Of course, it could be that one or both of the winning tickets were bought on behalf of a lottery syndicate, and if we get clarification on that matter then we will let you know in due course. In the meantime we congratulate the owners of both jackpot-winning tickets which matched all five main numbers (02, 19, 33, 37 and 46) as well as both Lucky Star numbers (05 and 08).
Six EuroMillions players (three in the UK) won £220,229 each by matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star, and another seven players (one in the UK) matched five main numbers only to win £62,922 each. There were plenty of other winners at the lower prize levels too, and in total more than 2.95 million EuroMillions prizes were won last Friday night.
The person who bought one of the winning EuroMillions tickets wasn’t the only lottery player in Britain who became a millionaire over the last few days. One player won the £1 million prize in the Millionaire Raffle game with the number JRW089330 and another won the £4.63 million Lotto jackpot outright on Saturday 22 October. The Lotto results for that draw were 20, 27, 28, 34, 43 and 44, and the Bonus Ball was 01.
Five Lotto players won £285,482 each by matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball. Another 343 players picked up a third-tier prize of £2,600 each by matching five main numbers only. In total, Saturday’s Lotto game produced 451,985 prize winners.
All of this means that the jackpots for both the EuroMillions and Lotto games have now been reset. Buy tickets online today and you could win a EuroMillions jackpot of around £12 million on Tuesday 25 October and/or a Lotto jackpot of around £2.2 million this Wednesday. Enjoy both games and good luck!
