Brand New Jackpot for Lotto Players
Lotto players will be pursuing a brand new jackpot worth an estimated £2.1 million this evening after a single ticket succeeded in winning the top prize last Saturday. The previous win, which was worth £14.67 million to the player who matched all six main numbers, got the month of July off to a superb winning start, and lottery fans are hoping to see another participant follow up by winning the midweek jackpot tonight.
We don’t yet know who the lucky winner of last Saturday’s jackpot was, so players who haven’t yet checked their entry for the previous game should do so now to avoid the risk of missing out on such a massive life-changing prize. Those of you who participated in last night’s EuroMillions game may also want to grab your tickets, as there were some big UK winners, and one of them just might be you.
The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 5 July were 01, 10, 29, 38 and 48, with the numbers 03 and 04 appearing as the Lucky Stars. No player won the £12.76 million jackpot that was up for grabs, but two tickets won £321,019 each by matching all five main numbers plus one of the Lucky Stars, and both of those entries had been purchased in the UK.
There were four tickets that matched all five of the main numbers without either of the Lucky Stars to win £53,503 each at the third tier, and more than 1.36 million entries won smaller prizes across the lower levels. The Millionaire Maker code, which is worth £1 million to the UK player who succeeded in matching it, was SPZ872322. The next EuroMillions game this Friday 8 July will be worth around £20 million.
Whilst we wait for that game, and to find out exactly who won last Saturday’s Lotto jackpot (if we ever do – they may well elect to remain anonymous), we can take advantage of the opportunity to become the next big winner in tonight’s midweek Lotto game. Download one of our free Lotto apps to get the results on your mobile within minutes of the draw taking place, and good luck!Wednesday 6th July 2016
