Boxing Day Lotto Jackpot Won!
The Boxing Day Lotto jackpot, which had a final value of £6,356,273, was won by a single ticket. We don’t know if the lucky winner had been planning to return to work after the Christmas break in the near future, but even if they had, they now have enough wealth at their disposal to seriously consider quitting work altogether. The Lotto results that made the work-free/cash-rich life possible for the winner on Wednesday 26 December were 03, 11, 17, 39, 47 and 49, and the Bonus Ball was 34.
Whilst the jackpot winner was obviously the biggest success story on Wednesday, there were plenty of other participants who won smaller amounts. 315,923 tickets won a prize of some kind, and seven of those tickets matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number to win £99,479 each. 307 tickets won £1,417 each by matching five main numbers only, and the remaining winners matched either four or three main numbers to pick up prizes of £58 or £10 each.
There will now be a brand new jackpot of around £4,000,000 to play for in the next Lotto game this Saturday 29 December, and if you want to take our Lotto statistics into consideration when making your selections we can tell you that the most overdue main numbers right now are 08, 42, 46, 07, 10 and 24. For those of you who prefer to follow ‘hot’ numbers that have appeared more often, the most commonly drawn numbers at the time of writing are 44, 38, 23, 40, 39 and 33.
However you choose your numbers for the Lotto game this Saturday, don’t forget that you also have a chance to win a EuroMillions jackpot of around £20 million this Friday 28 December. The Millionaire Raffle game on Friday will create one winner of £1,000,000 as usual, but on Tuesday 1 January, 2013, there will be another special Millionaire Raffle draw that creates 25 winners. If you buy EuroMillions tickets in advance for the next two draws then you will guarantee your participation in both of the Raffle games just mentioned.
Whatever games you want to play, head this way to enter your numbers online and good luck!
