Bigger Lotto Jackpot this Saturday
Lottery players will have a bigger than usual Lotto jackpot to play for this Saturday 30 August thanks to a rollover in the midweek draw. The jackpot on Wednesday 27 August weighed in with a final value of just over £2.2 million, but none of the tickets entered for the game were able to match all six main numbers, so the jackpot in the next game is expected to be worth around £5.5 million. For those of you who haven't yet checked your tickets, the latest Lotto results were 05, 17, 29, 36, 37 and 49, and the Bonus Ball was 02.
The second tier prize level saw three tickets win their owners £60,142 each by matching five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number. There were 138 tickets that matched five main numbers only to win £1,110 each, and more than 130,000 tickets won smaller prizes of £125 or £25 each by matching four or three main numbers, respectively.
In addition to all of the Lotto consolation prizes just mentioned, another 50 prizes of £20,000 each were won in the Lotto Raffle game, and the complete list of winning numbers can be found on our Lotto Results page. The number of Lotto Raffle prizes increases by 50 after a jackpot rollover in the main Lotto game, so it will award 100 prizes of £20,000 each this Saturday.
No player won the top prize in the Health Lottery game last night, so players will have to wait until Saturday for their next opportunity to win themselves £100,000. The good news is that more than 4,500 tickets won consolation prizes worth up to £10,000 each, so there were still plenty of participants who had something to celebrate. The Health Lottery results for Wednesday 27 August were 03, 06, 07, 16 and 47, along with the Bonus Ball number 32.
All of this means that the end of the month will give lottery players the opportunity to win two fantastic rollover jackpots. The EuroMillions game this Friday will offer a double rollover jackpot worth around £24 million, and then the Lotto game on Saturday will boast a rollover jackpot worth around £5.5 million. Head this way to secure your tickets for both games and good luck!
