Lottery Thrills Reach Fever Pitch!
The excitement of lottery players is reaching fever pitch after the third consecutive rollover took place in the midweek Lotto game. That sets things up for a triple rollover jackpot game this Saturday 23 May, when the top prize is now estimated to be worth around £10.4 million. Players also have a double rollover jackpot of around £22 million to play for in the EuroMillions game on Friday. Put both of those games right at the start of a Spring Bank Holiday weekend and it isn’t difficult to understand why the nation’s excitement is almost palpable.
The Lotto results which delivered the third jackpot rollover in a row on Wednesday 20 May were 06, 09, 22, 38, 39 and 41, and the number 37 appeared as the Bonus Ball. Had someone been able to match all six main numbers, they would have won the very impressive sum of £7,714,351, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. The best that anyone could do in the main game was match five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £46,530, and that feat was achieved by each of five entries.
There were 136 tickets that won £1,452 each at the third tier by matching five main numbers only, and another 8,048 tickets matched four main numbers to win £129 each. The smallest prize of £25 was won by each of 154,580 tickets that matched three main numbers.
As advertised, the Lotto Raffle game created 51 winners on Wednesday this week. One of the Lotto Raffle numbers – TEAL 9586 4006 – was worth a guaranteed £1 million to the player who matched it, whilst the others were all worth £20,000 each.
None of the most overdue numbers appeared in the midweek Lotto game, so the ones to watch out for in the £10.4 million triple rollover game this Saturday are still 16, 13, 12, 08, 26 and 02. Those of you who want to watch out for the most overdue balls in the £22 million double rollover EuroMillions game on Friday should look for the main numbers 16, 41, 15, 09 and 33, as well as for the Lucky Star numbers 04 and 05.
It isn’t often that lottery fans in the UK get to play for a double rollover EuroMillions jackpot on one day followed by a triple rollover Lotto jackpot on the next, so click here to secure your entries for both games and you just might spend this Bank Holiday weekend celebrating an eight-figure win!Thursday 21st May 2015
