Back-to-Back Wins in Irish Lotto

Back-to-Back Wins in Irish Lotto

The Irish Lotto jackpot has been won for the second time in the space of just a few days, thanks to one ticket matching all six of the main numbers that were drawn on Wednesday. A jackpot of €10.65 million had been won on Saturday 4 April by one ticket that had been purchased in the North-East, and then one ticket purchased online secured a brand new jackpot of €2 million in the midweek game. The Irish Lotto results that delivered the latest win on Wednesday 8 April were 02, 04, 22, 26, 30 and 36, and the Bonus Ball number was 07.

More than 26,000 entries won smaller prizes in the midweek Irish Lotto game, and one player managed to win a second tier prize of €25,000 by matching five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. The next game this Saturday 11 April will once again offer a brand new jackpot worth a guaranteed €2 million, and most Irish Lotto fans will be hoping to make it three jackpot wins in a row.

Our own midweek Lotto jackpot wasn’t quite as forthcoming this week, with no ticket matching all of the numbers required to win the £2.62 million that was up for grabs. The Lotto results for Wednesday 8 April were 18, 28, 30, 31, 41 and 46, and the Bonus Ball number was 01. Whilst the top prize eluded players everywhere, two tickets were able to win a second tier prize worth £104,598 each by matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball.

There were 69 tickets that won £2,574 each by matching five main numbers only, and another 4,675 entries won £200 each by matching four main numbers. The smallest prize of £25 went to each of 102,398 tickets that matched three main numbers, and in the associated Lotto Raffle game there were 50 winners of £20,000 each.

Lotto players in the UK will now be able to play for a rollover jackpot that is expected to be worth around £5.9 million this Saturday. Add that to the £10 million that will be on offer in the EuroMillions game on Friday and you have two opportunities to win yourself financial independence on a massive scale. Remember, the Millionaire Maker and Lotto Raffle games will create big winners even if the main lottery jackpots roll over, so click here to buy your tickets online and good luck!
