Aspiring Millionaires Eye EuroMillions

Aspiring Millionaires Eye EuroMillions

The end of another working week is fast approaching and once again lottery players are contemplating the idea of winning themselves multi-millionaire status in time for the weekend. The biggest jackpot of the next few days will be offered by the EuroMillions game, where the top prize will be worth around £17 million, so that is the game that the most ambitious players will be eyeing. Then, on Saturday, the Lotto game will offer a brand new jackpot worth around £3.9 million.

Midweek Lotto players saw one ticket match all six main numbers on Wednesday 5 August to win a rollover jackpot with a final value of £5,839,203. Those numbers were 05, 08, 12, 28, 39 and 41, and the number 18 appeared as the Bonus Ball. Five tickets matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a second tier prize of £32,715 each, and another 194 tickets won £715 each by matching five main numbers only.

There were 9,655 tickets that matched four main numbers to win £76 each, and the smallest prize of £25 went to each of 168,251 tickets that matched three main numbers. As usual, the Lotto Raffle game awarded a prize of £20,000 to each of 50 winners, and the next Lotto jackpot this Saturday will be worth around £3.9 million.

Whilst the next Lotto game will be as exciting as ever, the Friday EuroMillions game comes first. Players who want to include one or more of the most overdue numbers on their EuroMillions entries should be considering the main numbers 13, 25, 47, 26 and 30, as well as the Lucky Star numbers 03 and 04. For players who prefer following the most common numbers, the main numbers to look out for are 50, 44, 04, 38 and 19, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are currently 03 and 08. More information about the numbers that are used in the game can be found on our EuroMillions Statistics page.

Whether or not anyone wins the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday, one player is sure to win the life-changing sum of £1,000,000 in the Millionaire Maker game, and the Lotto game will offer another jackpot-winning opportunity on Saturday. Participate on both evenings to increase your chances of winning big, let us know if your numbers come up and have a fantastic weekend!
