Another Lotto Double Rollover

Another Lotto Double Rollover

Double rollovers in the Lotto game seem to be a bit like buses – you wait ages for one and then two come along in close proximity. Back in August a double rollover Lotto jackpot worth £7,775,405 was won by a single ticket, and someone will have the chance to achieve a similar feat this Wednesday 10 September thanks to the jackpot rolling in the Lotto draw last Saturday. The double rollover jackpot is expected to be worth around £8.2 million, and as if that wasn't enough to get excited about, the Lotto Raffle game will create 150 winners of £20,000 each.

The Lotto results on Saturday 6 September were 11, 29, 32, 37, 40 and 48, and the Bonus Ball number was 14. Whilst the £6.54 million jackpot rolled over, more than £8 million was won in the form of consolation prizes. Five tickets won £82,919 each by matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball, and 169 tickets won £2,082 each by matching five main numbers only. There were 11,300 tickets that matched four main numbers to win £164 each, and 222,214 tickets matched three main numbers to win £25 each.

In the Health Lottery game on Saturday, the main numbers were 22, 30, 34, 39 and 42, and the Bonus Ball number was 06. There were no winners of the £100,000 top prize, but more than 7,000 tickets matched enough numbers to win a consolation prize of some kind.

On Friday 5 September the EuroMillions game offered a jackpot of £37 million, but no player was able to match all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win that sum. Five tickets won a second tier prize by matching all five main numbers (01, 18, 23, 46 and 50) as well as one of the Lucky Stars (03 or 09), and those tickets are now worth £217,151 each. There were 13 tickets that matched five main numbers only to win £27,939 each, and 105 tickets won £1,723 each by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. Over 2.33 million entries won smaller prizes, and one player in the UK won a separate prize of £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number QSB699292.

With rollovers having taken place in both the EuroMillions and Lotto games, lottery players now have plenty more to get excited about in the week ahead. Visit this page to buy your lottery tickets online and if you don't win £43 million in the EuroMillions game on Tuesday you could still win an estimated £8.2 million in the Lotto game on Wednesday. Enjoy the draws and good luck!
