Another EuroMillions Double Rollover
Updated: Wednesday 23rd April 2014
Less than two weeks have gone by since the last extended series of EuroMillions rollovers came to an end (the £140 million jackpot was won on Tuesday 13 September) but already it looks like another one has started. The jackpot on Friday 23 September was worth £23.96 million due to a rollover in the previous draw, but no ticket matched all of the numbers needed to secure the top prize and so the jackpot rolled over once again. This gives lottery players a EuroMillions double rollover jackpot of around £30 million to play for this Tuesday 27 September.
The EuroMillions results which eluded lottery players last Friday were 06, 14, 33, 34 and 48, and the Lucky Stars were 02 and 06. Whilst no ticket won the jackpot itself, six tickets – none of them owned by UK players – did match the five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win a second-tier prize worth €311,193 each. UK players fared better at the third-tier level where eight tickets (two owned by players in this country) matched the five main numbers only to win £49,531 each. The total number of EuroMillions prizes won on Friday weighed in at more than 2.91 million and the winning Millionaire Raffle number, which made one UK player a millionaire, was YNW700364.
Although the jackpot eluded players in the most recent EuroMillions game, the jackpot in the Lotto game on Saturday 24 September was a lot more forthcoming. The Lotto results were 10, 16, 29, 34, 37 and 47, and the Bonus Ball was 31. A single ticket matched all six main numbers to win the £4,571,277 jackpot and 13 other tickets matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to each win a second-tier prize of £108,195. The jackpot for the next Lotto game this Wednesday 28 September will be worth around £2.2 million.
Regular readers will be aware that the Irish Lotto game had been rolling over for quite some time until the weekend, but the good news is that one ticket finally won the jackpot outright last Saturday. The Irish Lotto results were 02, 07, 19, 23, 33 and 43, and the Bonus Ball was 28. The jackpot was worth €11,033,593 and the jackpot for the next game this Wednesday has now been reset to €2 million.
We congratulate everyone who managed to win a lottery prize over the last few days and we wish everyone the very best of luck in landing the £30 million EuroMillions double rollover jackpot this Tuesday. Grab your tickets online today and in less than 48 hours we just might be writing about your jackpot-winning success!
