All Eyes on Wednesday Lotto Jackpot
Updated: Wednesday 11th November 2015
The introduction of new Lotto rules in early October means that the game is no longer limited to a maximum of four jackpot rollovers. Each of the last four Lotto draws have resulted in the jackpot rolling over, and players are obviously keen to see the top prize (with an estimated value of £15.6 million) being won tonight, but if that doesn’t happen then it will, for the first time in the history of the game, roll over for the fifth draw in a row.
Lottery fans who have been playing the EuroMillions game in recent weeks will be perfectly familiar with an extended sequence of near misses, because the first draw of this week gave them an eighth rollover in a row. The main numbers that were responsible for that outcome on Tuesday 10 November were 06, 13, 18, 39 and 43, and the Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 08.
The jackpot that rolled over on Tuesday was worth £79.49 million, but the highest sum that was landed was £347,476, and that prize was won by each of four tickets at the second tier. Another nine tickets matched five main numbers only to win a third tier prize worth £51,478 each, and a fourth tier prize of £3,563 went to each of 65 tickets that matched four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars.
The total number of consolation prizes won in the Tuesday EuroMillions game was 3,024,187, and the total amount of cash won by UK players exceeded £4.22 million. The Millionaire Maker game awarded an additional prize of £1 million to the player who matched the winning code, which was MPX999376, and the next EuroMillions game this Friday 13 November will now offer a jackpot which is expected to be worth around £91 million.
Getting back to the midweek Lotto game which will take place this evening, our Lotto Statistics page tells us that the most overdue numbers right now are 38, 01, 15, 10, 19 and 48, so do watch out for those. Players who would prefer to leave their chances to fate can use our Lotto Number Generator to pick their six selections at random.
Whatever method you use to choose your numbers, enjoy the quadruple rollover Lotto game this evening and good luck!Published: Wednesday 11th November 2015
