A Hat-Trick for UK Lotto Players?

A Hat-Trick for UK Lotto Players?
Updated: Wednesday 31st May 2017

As regular players will be aware, the last two Lotto draws both saw the jackpot being landed by a single ticket. The first of those wins took place last Wednesday, when the triple rollover payout was worth a mouth-watering £14.6 million. Then, just a few days later, a brand new top prize worth £4.3 million was won by a player despite all of the main numbers drawn being higher than 30. Now, UK Lotto players are hoping that the lucky streak will continue this evening and allow one of them to score a lottery hat-trick by landing a third jackpot win in a row.

Lottery players who were involved in the first big game of the week saw the EuroMillions jackpot roll over last night. The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 27 October were 11, 12, 20, 25 and 36, with the numbers 06 and 09 appearing as the Lucky Stars, and the jackpot which eluded participants for the fourth consecutive draw was worth just over £26.89 million.

There were no players who succeeded in winning a second tier prize, but nine entries won their owners a third tier prize of £112,812 each by matching all five of the main numbers. There were 43 tickets that matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win £2,951 each at the fourth tier, and there were more than 1.7 million smaller prizes won across the lower levels. UK players won a total of over £2.42 million, and an additional prize of £1 million was won by the player who matched the Millionaire Maker code, which was HNK628639.

The next EuroMillions game this Friday will offer a jackpot with an estimated value of £33 million, and players will also get to enjoy the chance to win one of ten prizes of £1 million each in the associated Mega Friday Millionaire Maker draw.

We will preview all of the EuroMillions and Mega Friday action tomorrow, but right now it is the midweek Lotto – with a jackpot of around £2.3 million – that should take centre stage. Of the ten new numbers (50 to 59) that were added to the Lotto game a few weeks ago, two have yet to make an appearance, so do look out for the numbers 56 and 57 and good luck with whatever numbers you choose to play for yourself.
