13th Tuesday EuroMillions Rollover

13th Tuesday EuroMillions Rollover
Updated: Thursday 10th April 2014

The EuroMillions jackpot rolled over on Tuesday 18 September, making it the 13th Tuesday jackpot to roll over in as many weeks. There have been jackpot wins in some of the Friday games, of course, but the last time anyone was lucky enough to land a Tuesday EuroMillions jackpot was on 19th June, when one ticket purchased in Portugal won £12.1 million. The 13th Tuesday jackpot rollover this week means that players will once again have a larger jackpot to play for on Friday, and this time the top prize will be worth around £21 million.

EuroMillions players who watched the draw take place last night saw the appearance of the main numbers 06, 07, 38, 39 and 44, followed by the Lucky Star numbers 07 and 09. The bad news for participants in the UK is that although there were two winning tickets at the second-tier prize level and four winning tickets at the third-tier prize level, none of them had been bought in this country. That made landing a fourth-tier prize the best that any UK player could manage in the main game, and there were 27 tickets (6 purchased in the UK) that matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win £4,476 each.

Another 548 tickets matched four main numbers and one Lucky Star to win £192 each, and 926 tickets won £114 each by matching four main numbers only. The total number of prizes won in the EuroMillions game was 1,588,242 and the night was saved for aspiring millionaires when the Millionaire Raffle number WJW891363 gave one ticket a value of £1 million.

We will have to wait a few days to see if the Friday EuroMillions jackpot proves to be more cooperative for UK players seeking a big win, but in the meantime we can focus on playing for a rollover jackpot in the midweek Lotto game this evening. The Wednesday Lotto jackpot had originally been estimated to be worth around £6.7 million but that figure has been revised by officials so we can now expect it to be worth around £7.1 million.
