€100 Million Guaranteed for EuroMillions
Updated: Thursday 10th April 2014
EuroMillions players will have a guaranteed jackpot of €100 million to pursue in the game on Friday 28 September, so if you’re a fan of big money games be sure to mark that date down in your diary! The €100 million on offer should work out at around £80 million, which is a massive stack of cash however you store it, and it might be worth buying a few extra tickets when the time comes to try and make the most of the opportunity.
Guaranteed jackpots are not new to the EuroMillions game, but they aren’t exactly commonplace either, so it’s always exciting to hear about the next one. We will remind you about this special game a little closer to the time so that you have ample opportunity to buy your tickets early. In the meantime, allow us to bring you up to date with the lottery results for last night…
The Lotto jackpot for Wednesday 5 September rolled over after no player matched all six main numbers (these were 17, 22, 26, 27, 39 and 41) and so the next jackpot this Saturday 8 September will be worth around £6.3 million. Five tickets matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball (which was 43) to win £147,587 each, so once again the biggest winners were found at the second-tier level. 198 tickets matched five main numbers only to win £2,329 each, and 256,795 tickets won £83 or £10 each by matching four or three main numbers.
The Thunderball game is also worth a mention because one ticket matched all five main numbers and the Thunderball itself to scoop the top prize of £500,000. The main numbers drawn last night were 03, 05, 09, 19 and 23, and the Thunderball was 11. There were 10 tickets that matched the five main numbers only to win £5,000 each, and over 168,000 other tickets won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers. As always, there is another opportunity to win a top prize of £500,000 in the next Thunderball game this Friday.
Congratulations to everyone who won a lottery prize last night, and good luck to everyone who has a go at winning one over the next few days. The EuroMillions jackpot this Friday will be worth around £37 million (thanks to three consecutive rollovers) and the Lotto jackpot on Saturday will (as we said a few moments ago) be worth around £6.3 million. Buy your lottery tickets for both of those games today, and don’t forget to make a note of the €100 million guaranteed jackpot in the EuroMillions game on 28 September!
