100 Lotto Raffle Winners on Saturday
Updated: Tuesday 8th April 2014
Saturday will be doubly exciting for lottery players thanks to a rollover in the midweek Lotto draw last night. The rollover in the main game means that there will be an even bigger jackpot to play for in the next draw – an estimated £6.2 million – and there will also be an additional 50 winners in the Lotto Raffle game. In other words, a total of 100 players will each win themselves a Lotto Raffle prize of £20,000, regardless of how they fare in the Lotto game itself!
The Lotto results on Wednesday 16 October were 12, 15, 24, 26, 31 and 35, and the Bonus Ball number was 36. We have already established that there were no jackpot winners, but we are pleased to say that there were half a dozen winners at the second tier, and each of those lucky players won £31,507 by matching five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball.
The third tier gave a prize of £1,348 to each of 119 players who matched five main numbers only, and 8,253 tickets won their owners £102 each by matching four main numbers. The smallest possible prize of £25 went to each of 152,406 tickets that matched three main numbers. Add in 50 winners of £20,000 each in the Lotto Raffle game and the total amount of prize money landed last night was over £6 million, so well done to everyone who won some of it!
In the midweek Health Lottery game there were four tickets that won the top prize of £100,000 each by matching all five main numbers. Those numbers were 18, 19, 22, 42 and 45, and the Bonus Ball was 50. More than 15,000 tickets won consolation prizes of up to £10,000 each.
With a £6.2 million Lotto jackpot and 100 Lotto Raffle prizes up for grabs this Saturday, demand for tickets is likely to soar, so do plan ahead and buy your tickets in plenty of time to allow for any last-minute glitches.
