UK players can make the most of the next EuroMillions draw as The National Lottery organises a special promotion which guarantees ten millionaires. This means that ten Millionaire Maker codes will be drawn instead of one.

On Friday, 26th April 2024 the Millionaire Maker draw will offer extra prizes for UK players. These promotions only take place a few times per year and this one in particular is the first under Allwyn’s management, the new lottery operator which took Camelot’s place in February 2024. 

The Millionaire Maker draw is a UK-only raffle which is part of the EuroMillions game. With every EuroMillions entry, participants automatically get a raffle code for a chance to win £1 million. 

The raffle code has four letters and five numbers, and it is randomly generated by the lottery computer. In order to win, you must match all the letters and numbers in the exact order. The winning code will be drawn from the participating codes, therefore there’s always a guaranteed winner. 

But on special occasions, The National Lottery offers an enhanced number of guaranteed winners. In this case, ten raffle codes will be drawn and each winner will become a millionaire. As more codes will be chosen, this means that the odds of winning are also improving. Usually, the odds of matching the winning Millionaire Maker code are 1 in 5 million (if 5 million tickets are sold). But when ten codes are available, the odds will considerably decrease to 1 in 500,000.

To make this Friday’s EuroMillions draw even more special, the grand prize has been rolling over eleven times so far, therefore reaching an impressive amount of £130 million (€151 million).
