Second top UK scam

The top ten scams which have conned the most money out of people living in the UK were identified by the Government in an effort to crackdown on fraudsters.

The Office of Fair Trading revealed UK consumers lose around £1 billion per year to an array of mass-marketing scam mailings, emailings and telephone calls.

Telephone lottery scams, fake prize draws and lottery mailings were identified by the OFT as the biggest cons that people should watch out for. More on lottery scams here.
