A win to retire on

In Indiana, USA, nine workers at an auto parts factory have won a Hoosier Lotto jackpot prize of $9m. The men have played the lottery as a syndicate for nearly 16 years, but this is their first win and it comes on the week they were due to retire. By taking a cash option of $370,000 most of the syndicate do not plan to look for work again, and syndicate leader Dick Quinn wins $740,000 as he always bought two tickets.
