New Health Lottery Rules Approaching
The Health Lottery is just a fortnight away from new rules that come into play from Saturday 21 July. The new rules will give players two chances to win the top prize of £100,000 instead of just one, but the cost of tickets will remain the same as they are currently and players will still select five numbers from the range 01 to 50. The only differences will be in the prize structure (with slightly smaller consolation prizes being introduced so that players have two chances to win the biggest prize of all) and the addition of new ‘Hot Ticket’ prizes such as cars and holidays.
As far as the cash prizes are concerned, the main aim of the game will be to match all five main numbers to win the standard top prize of £100,000. Match four numbers under the new rules and you will win £250, and if you match three numbers you will win £20. In addition to all of that, a second chance draw will be held that will create one more winner of £100,000. The winners of ‘Hot Ticket’ prizes will be drawn at the same time, giving players the chance to win cars, holidays, shopping sprees and more.
The Health Lottery was launched to raise money for health-related charities across the UK and so far more than £20 million has been paid out to those good causes. The new Health Lottery rules that are on their way are expected to be greeted warmly by players and raise even more for worthy beneficiaries. You can play the Health Lottery up to eight weeks in advance, so anyone who buys a ticket for the next two draws or more is guaranteed to be involved in the first double-chance game on Saturday 21 July.
Now that you have something special on the horizon to look forward to, you can turn your attention back to the lottery games closer at hand. The EuroMillions jackpot rolled over on Friday 6 July and so the next game this Tuesday will offer a multi-rollover jackpot worth around £48 million. Then, on Wednesday, the midweek Lotto game will offer a brand new jackpot of around £2.2 million after three tickets shared the £3.97 million jackpot last Saturday.
Whatever games you choose to play this week or in the future, always keep your entries safe and secure by purchasing your tickets online and good luck with your numbers!
